The Deniz Müzesi (Naval Museum) in Istanbul houses a large collection of state barges of the Ottoman Empire ranging from the 16th century to
the end of the Sultanate in the early 20th
century. Other exhibits include models of 19th century Ottoman warships and historical artillery pieces
